New Law in Maryland for Drunk Drivers With Minors in Vehicle


On Tuesday, Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley signed a bill into law that will require drunk drivers who are caught with a child under 16 in their car to use interlock breathalyzers to start their vehicle.
According to a University of Maryland report, 465 people were arrested in 2012 for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs while transporting a minor.
