Drunk Driving Suspected In Aurora Double Fatal Crash


In Aurora, Colorado, two people were killed by a suspected drunk driver early Tuesday morning. Investigators said the driver was speeding when he rear-ended a Ford Escort, then veered into oncoming traffic and crashed into a Ford F-150.

Stoldorf Admits Guilt In Drunk Driving Crashes

Floyd Stoldorf, 62-years-old, admitted to being heavily intoxicated at the time that he caused at least three crash and seriously injured two people. Stoldorf plead guilty to two counts of aggravated vehicular assault and failure to stop after a crash and a misdemeanor count of operating a vehicle impaired.

Drugged Driving Increases While Drunk Driving Decreases

According to two recent studies by the Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, drunk driving has decreased, but driving while on prescription drugs or marijuana has increased. Drunk driving has decreased by nearly one-third since 2007 and more than three-quarter since 1973.

Lyle Boudreaux, 29-year-old “Party Down South” star, was arrested for the second year in a row at a Mardi Gras celebration. Police pulled Boudreaux over after he turned without signaling and they immediately smelled alcohol.

Michael Monrow Hart, 62, pleaded guilty to his seventh drunk driving offense. The Douglas County Circuit Court sentenced him to three years in prison and 18 months of extended supervision.

Fargo Man Arrested For Allegedly Drunk-Driving A Zamboni At A High School Hockey Game

A Zamboni operator was arrested at Fargo South Sports Arena around 8 p.m. for allegedly driving under the influence during a high school girl’s hockey game. A spectator noticed the Zamboni weaving around erratically and notified the arena’s staff, who then called the police.

Police Chief, Michael Madden, of Oxford County town of Paris is due in court this week for a drunk driving charge. Madden was driving his personal vehicle without any passengers when he was pulled over. Police state that he was very cooperative during the stop.

Grand Ledge Woman Gets 25-50 Years In Fatal Drunk-Driving Crash


Starr Kiogima-McGill, 28, was sentenced to 25 – 50 years in prison for driving drunk two years ago for causing a crash that killed her daughter.  Kiogima-McGill’s blood-alcohol level was at least three times the legal amount at the time of the crash. She was found guilty of second-degree murder and drunken driving causing death.

Caroline Fouts was out celebrating her birthday before she was struck by John Cecil Jr.’s car back in December. Cecil hit Fouts in a crosswalk and continued to drive for about two blocks before finally coming to a stop. The whole time, Caroline was on top of the car.

Boy Dies From Injuries Sustained In’09 Drunk Driving Crash


Abdallah Khader was just two-years-old when Stewart Richardson was drunk and crashed into his family’s car back in 2009. That crash damaged 80 percent of Abdallah’s brain and left him in a vegetative state. Abdallah, now eight-years-old, died from his injuries this week.

Hernan Vega, 37-years-old, was driving on the Cross Bronx Expressway when he rear-ended a stopped cab at a red light, killing the female patron. Pamela Pimentel, 27, was pronounced dead New Year’s Day, while the 54-year-old driver, Mercury Marquis is in stable condition.
