Uber Makes Anti-Drunk-Driving Pitch For Super Bowl

David Plouffe, President Obama’s former campaign manger and Uber’s strategy chief, states that ride hailing services are having a significant impact on reducing drunk-driving incidents.

A recent study shows that 4 out of 5 respondents were less likely to drive home after drinking because of ride-hailing apps. “Safe rides are always within reach now,” says MADD President, Colleen Sheehey-Church, whose son died due to a drunk driver. “We’re aiming for a future with no more victims.”
