Haitham Gamal, 38, of California was pronounced dead on
scene after being struck by a 19-year-old alleged drunk driver. Gamal had just
been released from an intensive rehabilitation program following his multiple
DUI charges.
The day before he died, he
was sentenced to 45 days in jail and five years probation for a January 2013
DUI charge. Gamal was hit while riding his bike by an unidentified male who is
suspected of driving drunk.
