Kankakee Man Arrested For Drunk Driving And Reckless Homicide


A man was arrested for drunk driving and reckless homicide after he hit and killed a 68-year-old man mowing a lawn in Kankakee, Illinois. Zevez Murrell swerved and hit another vehicle while driving and then swerved into the opposite lane and into the grass side of the road hitting and killing a man.
Murrell's blood alcohol level was .098. He was taken to the Will County Adult Detention Center and charged with reckless homicide and aggravated DUI.
