A 23-year-old woman was killed when the broken down car
she was sitting in was struck by a drunk driver. The driver, 19-year-old Sergio
Sanchez Jr. slammed into the Lexus sedan with Jacqueline Rocha in the backseat
as the car was broken down on the side of the road.
Two people with Rocha were
outside the vehicle when Sanchez drove his white pickup truck into the car.
Sanchez was drunk according to police and arrested at the scene of the
accident, where Rocha was also pronounced dead after being ejected from the
vehicle. He is being charged with intoxicated manslaughter with vehicle and
intoxicated assault with vehicle.
