Drunk Driving: Keeping it in the Family

It definitely wasn’t an ideal night for a family of three in South Canterbury.  After a wild night, 15-year-old unnamed suspect was taken into custody when failing a Breathalyzer test, blowing 529 micrograms and exceeding more than 3x the legal youth limit.
What’s more shocking than the age of the suspect was that when placing a call for his mother to pick him up, they had learned that she was also arrested for drunk driving, blowing 776 micrograms, exceeding 2x the legal adult limit. Now if that wasn’t a shocker, unnamed suspect number 2 tried to reach out to the man of the house for rescue, only to find out that he too had been escorted to the patty wagon only 45 minutes after her. Lets just say this family learned a valuable lesson that night.

It all starts in the home folks.
