A 23-year-old Kalamazoo woman was arrested for driving
drunk. This wasn’t a typical DUI, she was pulled over driving in a stolen golf
cart.
The golf cart belonged to an apartment complex, but the
woman said her friend had given her the cart to drive. After failing sobriety
tests, police learned that she had two outstanding warrants.
The Kalamazoo woman is now facing theft charges, driving
drunk, driving on a suspended license, as well as lying to the police.
