16 year old, Ethan Couch was denied jail after killing four
people and injuring two. Instead of spending ten years in jail, he’s now going
to a rehab facility that has been paid by his parents.
At the time of the
accident, Couch’s blood alcohol level was three times the legal limit of an
adult. Out of the seven passengers in Couch’s pickup truck, one passenger,
Sergio Molina, is paralyzed after the accident and can only commute now by
blinking while his other friend, Solimon Mohmad, suffered broken bones and
internal injuries.
