Five People Injured In Drunk Driving Accident


Indian State Police said 32 year-old Has Moo Thaw was driving his pick up truck when he decided to pass a tractor-trailer in his lane. Due to dangerous road conditions, driving at a hazardous speed and a blood alcohol level of .21%, he lost control of his vehicle and crashed head-on with a Ford F-150.


The driver of the F-150, 44-year-old John McPherson, had to be airlifted to the local hospital where he was listed in critical condition. Thaw was not injured but his four passengers were, including three children ages four, seven and ten.
