A Young Girl Hopes to Spread Drunk Driving Awareness

A 14-year-old girl, Dakota Baker, of Moultrie, Georgia, wants her voice to be heard regarding drunk driving. The Baker family lost their son to a drunken driver in 2010. Dakota hopes to encourage people not to drink and drive because of the effects it has on everyone involved.
The Baker Parents are proud of Dakota and believe that even if she is only able to change one person, it is one less drunken driver. She believes that her story and age will have a huge impact on audiences and hopes to encourage drivers to be smart about their choices. Dakota was accepted into MADD’s National Teen Influence group for the school year and will be able to make an impact beyond her community.
