Craig Barton, 46, from Springfield, Mass. Has been sentenced
to five to seven years in prison for drunk driving, killing 22-year-old
Frederick Kareta back in 2010. In the recent weeks, a jury has awarded $1.4
million to Kareta’s family for the incident.
Though Kartea’s father does not
expect to see the money, all he wanted was to see that Barton was held
accountable for his actions. Not only Barton has been pleaded guilty for
killing Kareta, he has also been charged for vehicular homicide along with
other charges back in September 2011.
