When someone is suspected of drunk driving, they can now
simply pull up an app on their smartphone to find resources telling them their rights
if they are being pulled over. The app, called “Oh Crap” was designed to be a
tool to educated people on what police officers can and cannot do when pulling
someone over suspecting drunk driving.
It was created by an Iowa law firm and
can even record the conversation that takes place when being pulled over. It
also has basic legal information regarding rights, “hints” to follow when being
pulled over, and a blood alcohol level calculator.
