A popular blogger out of Austin is being mourned by his
online community after he was hit and killed by a drunk driver over the
weekend. Kelly Wayne Noel, 32, ran the blog ATX Hipsters, which discussed
different areas of interest such as food, entertainment, and culture in Austin.
Noel was attempting to walk across the street when 40-year-old Wade Atwood
struck him. Atwood’s blood alcohol level was .102, which is above the legal
limit of .08. Noel died from his injuries in the hospital shortly after the
accident.
