Vavae Tata, defensive lineman football coach for
Vanderbilt, has been suspended indefinitely from the program after his recent
arrest. Tata has been charged with driving under the influences as well as
leaving the scene of the accident.
After hitting two parked cars, Tata fled the
scene on foot but was later apprehended and arrested by police. The 37-year-old
had a blood alcohol level of 0.18, which is more than twice the .08 legal
limit. He admitted to operating the vehicle during the time of the crash to police.
