Olivia Carolee Culbreath, 21 years old, had been driving
under the influence going 100 miles per hour east, on a westbound highway when
her car collided with another car driven by 57 year old, Joel Cortez, whose
vehicle then collided with a red Ford, killing six people.
Cortez and Culbreath
were the only two survivors from this incident while her two friends, and the four
passengers in the Ford were dead on the spot. Culbreath’s records shows she had
been convicted once before for DUI at the age of 17, along with other traffic
violations since then. She will be under arrest for causing bodily injuries and
manslaughter after she’s discharged from the hospital.
