Michael Gerard Cooper, 55, was arrested for entering a
liquor store, which violated his court-mandated conditions from previous
impaired driving convictions.
The Nova Scotia man was convicted in 2007 for
drunk driving which resulted in death and stated that he would continue to
drink and drive. That prompted family members of a Nova Scotia teenager killed
in a drunk driving accident to release Cooper’s name and picture to liquor
stores and bars. Cooper was arrested after an employee at the liquor store
recognized him and called police.
