The day before Easter, a Los Angeles family loses 5 members
to the reckless actions of a drunk driver. In southeastern Nevada, an 18 year
old impaired driver struck a van carrying 7 family members, ejecting 5 from the
vehicle to their deaths. This is a tragedy all too familiar during the holidays
when drunk driving, and drunk driving deaths are at a high. Law enforcement
encourages all citizens to be particularly vigilant of driving conditions
during the holidays and suggests all suspected impaired drivers be reported to
local authorities to stop further tragedies from occurring.
