A 19-year old in Canada drove drunk the wrong way down the highway, crashing into a vehicle and killing Brian Wijeratne's father, 16-year-old younger sister, and left his mom in critical condition. She's still battling for her life at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto.
The drunk driver was also taken to the hospital and is expected to be charged for his actions on Tuesday.
One act of stupidity by a complete stranger destroyed Brian's life, taking away almost his entire family. It's an unfortunate reminder that you're not the only one in control of your life. As Brian stated, "My family was a great family. Anyone can probably guess that. A lot of families are just like my family. … Nothing will bring them back.”
