In Harrison, NY, a woman from
Yonkers was arrested for driving while intoxicated, resisting arrest, and
assaulting a trooper. State police received a call around 2:00 AM about a
vehicle that was spotted driving on its rims on I-684.
Twenty-six year old, Delmy
Villanueva, apparently struck the guard rail numerous times and punctured one
of her tires in the process. When state troopers arrived at the scene of the
accident, she was found in a state of intoxication.
Troopers mentioned how they
attempted to restrain Villanueva, but during the process, she proceeded to kick
a trooper in the face with her high-heel, causing injury to the trooper’s eye.
Villanueva agreed to a blood alcohol test, blowing 0.16 percent; twice the
legal limit.
