on multiple charges after his 11-year-old stepson died from injuries
sustained in a drunk driving accident. Poly more was driving his stepson Dylan
Perry with a blood alcohol level of 0.094, which is over the legal limit of
0.08.

Study Claims Deaths in the U.S. from Drunk Driving are Under-Reported
A study published in the Journal of Studies on
Alcohol and Drugs this month claims that the number of deaths from drunk
driving in the U.S. are under-reported. When researchers in the study compared
numbers from the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's Fatality
Analysis Reporting System, not all of the deaths with alcohol involved were in
the data.

A newly-approved bill by the Senate Judiciary
Committee in New Jersey will address first-time drunk driving offenders to opt
out of losing their license. In place of license suspension, the offender has
the option to instead have an ignition interlocking device installed in their
vehicle.

Staten Island Man Facing Charges In Fatal DWI
39-year-old Michael Pogorzelski is charged with DWI during a
fatal crash on Sunday Jan 27th . According to the Staten Island
Police, Pogorzelski struck James Benedict, 67, who died at Staten Island
University Hospital.
