A proposal to lengthen the hours bars in Michigan could serve alcohol has some people worried it could result in more drunk driving and more crime. Supporters believe it will boost revenue and attract more young people.
They also believe it will create more jobs for bartenders and extra money for cab drivers. Others are concerned with health and safety issues, especially drunk drivers. Some people say it could endanger people who have to be at work early in the morning and create more crime. A poll was posted an out of 800 voters, 57 percent say they support the bill while the other 42 percent do not.
