A Frederick, Wisconsin woman is in custody for the homicide
of off-duty deputy chief firefighter Chad M. Hansen.
Hansen was walking across
a street when an intoxicated Jeanne S. Fischer, 32, struck and killed him. She
was driving from one bar to a second bar when she killed Hansen. Her blood
alcohol level was recorded at 0.136 percent, which exceeds Wisconsin’s legal
limit. As a result, Fischer was arrested “on suspicion of homicide by
intoxicated driver and causing injury by intoxicated operation of a motor
vehicle.” Johnson was reportedly walking home from spending a night out when he
was tragically struck and killed.
