Tyron Martin Jr.’s blood-alcohol level was more than twice
the legal limit when he rear-ended William Wilson III. On top of having such a
high blood-alcohol level, he was driving with a suspended license and had no
insurance.
Wilson was partially ejected from his car and was pronounced dead at
the scene.
Martin came face-to-face with Wilson’s family during his
sentencing. After apologizing to the Wilson family, Tyron Martin Jr. was
sentenced to four to 10 years in state prison.
