Early Monday, a suspected drunk NYPD Sargent was busted
after hitting two double parked cars in Brooklyn and leaving the scene. 33 year
old Donald Stewart was then found a few blocks from the scene with an
incapacitated vehicle and alcohol on his breath. According to court records, Stewart refused a
breathalyzer test and is now attending court on charges of Driving While Intoxicated
and leaving the scene of an accident. Unfortunately, a number of law officials
neglect the very laws they enforce daily with little regard for the consequences.
Situations like this show that we must be wary of any suspected drunk drivers,
regardless of their career status.
