Drunk Bus Driver Crashes Into House

Drinking and driving is always a dangerous combination.  Sixty-six-year-old Frederick Flowers of Massapequa Park, Long Island drove a school bus full of children while under the influence.

There were five children aboard the miniature school bus that crashed into a residential home on
Teibrook Avenue in Syosset and fortunately none of the children were injured.

Police detected the scent of alcohol and slurred speech immediately. 

Frederick was charged with five counts of driving while innovated, five counts of endangering the welfare of a child, and one count of driving while intoxicated.
