Late last week, Celestino Centeno of Albuquerque was
arrested for the 13th time on drunk driving charges. Local police
officers observed Centeno getting into his car and backing up into a curb. He
refused to take a breathalyzer or a sobriety test, and was charged with a DWI.
A spokesperson for Mothers Against Drunk Driving expressed that we are all
lucky that he has not killed anybody yet, and that something must be done to
stop this. Although Centeno has been arrested thirteen times for driving under
the influence, it is most likely that he has driven drunk much more than that
but just happened to have not been caught on those instances.
