A 40-year-old big rig driver killed
another driver in Ontario while he was driving drunk before parking his truck
on the highway and wandering away. Hilario Homberto Urena veered into oncoming
lanes as he reached the high point of the bridge over the freeway.
He collided
hear on with sedan, then drove onto the on-ramp, smashed into a concrete
divider wall, then eventually made his way back onto the slow lane of the
freeway and got out his truck and walked away. Officers found the driver of the
sedan dead at the scene of the crash. Urena was arrested for suspicion of
vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, felony driving a commercial vehicle
under the influence of alcohol and felony hit and run.
