The National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence
(NCADD) is an organization dedicated to helping those who face the biggest
health problem that our nation faces today: alcoholism and drug dependency.
In this interesting
and engaging article, the NCADD discusses not only the legal ramifications of
driving under the influence, but also the physiological effects of drinking.
The physiological effects of drinking are presented in relation to
corresponding blood alcohol contents, or B.A.C. The article concludes with
several drug and alcohol related statistics.
“…But I’ve only had one drink, I’m fine to drive!” Think
again.
