Harris County Devastated by Loss of Sheriff

The damage that driving drunk can cause is not worth the risk.  Especially when the risk is losing a beloved member of a community.  That is what happened this week when an adored Sheriff of Harris County lost his life due to a driver who was under the influence.

Harris County in Texas is devastated after the loss of 16-year veteran Sheriff Dwayne Polk on May 19, 2013 due to a drunk driver.  Andres Muno-Muno, 22, ran a red light at the intersection of West Little York & North Shepherd.  Muno-Muno struck Polk’s side door and killed the 47-year-old off duty Sheriff at the scene.  Muno-Muno has since been charged with intoxicated manslaughter as Harris County continues to mourn over their loss of a great Sheriff.
